This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering strategic, operational and technology-enabled change across the firm. You'll lead a team of Business Analysts, drive best practice, and work with senior stakeholders to ensure change initiatives deliver meaningful business outcomes.

  • Ensure the Business Analyst team works collaboratively with Project Managers, Change Managers and operational stakeholders to understand the underlying reasons for change, define robust requirements and agree practical solutions that address business needs and support successful adoption.
  • Work in partnership with IT development teams to ensure robust software development lifecycle practices, enabling successful project delivery.
  • Lead the business analysis activity on the most complex initiatives from inception through to post-implementation, ensuring requirements, user stories, process analysis, testing strategies and supporting documentation are clear, proportionate and enable the change to be successfully delivered and embedded.
  • Allocate Business Analyst resources effectively across initiatives, making informed recommendations based on business priorities, project requirements, individual capability, capacity and development opportunities, in collaboration with portfolio and delivery leaders.
  • Take accountability for the quality and consistency of business analysis across the full project lifecycle, ensuring activity complies with agreed governance, professional standards and the Firm’s values, while developing and embedding approaches that strengthen business analysis capability across the Firm.

Skills and Experience

  • Deep practical knowledge of business analysis across strategic, operational and technology-enabled change, supported by substantial experience in a senior business analysis or professional leadership role.
  • Strong capability across requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, user-story development, process mapping, options analysis, UAT planning, testing and benefits definition.
  • Experience of leading and developing a professional team, including performance expectations, coaching, work allocation, quality assurance and capability planning.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading complex, cross-organisational initiatives and translating effectively between business and technical stakeholders.
  • Highly developed influencing, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and handle ambiguity or competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and adapt style to different audiences.
  • Strong strategic thinking, commercial awareness and judgement, with the ability to connect detailed analysis to wider Firm priorities and outcomes.
  • Excellent workload, resource and priority management, with a consistent focus on quality, delivery and continuous improvement.
