We are recruiting for an Assistant Paralegal / Paralegal to join our Document Review and Collation team in Bristol

This is an excellent opportunity for you to support both contentious and non-contentious fee earners from across the firm with the review and collation of documents including pre-action disclosure, data access requests and the creation of court bundles.

 

Your Role and Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake a first level review of Data Subject Access Requests, including redactions, with attention to detail, accuracy, and speed.
  • Using e-disclosure platforms such as Relativity to conduct reviews and E-disclosure exercises.
  • Being a team player, with the ability to work on your own initiative, but as part of the team to ensure that the team’s time is being effectively managed to meet deadlines of the existing workload.
  • This is a hybrid role, with 50% office attendance expected.
  • Reporting into management regularly on the progression of on-going work.
  • Managing your financial outputs carefully, and to encourage those around you to do the same, ensuring changes to time/cost/quality to the project are properly considered and managed.

 

Your Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Paralegal experience gained within a document review role would be advantageous.
  • Proven technical ability to identify privilege.
  • Proven technical ability to work on a data subject access request.
  • Experience of using Document Review Platforms such as Relativity.
  • The ability to build and maintain professional relationship with colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and self-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines.
  • Accuracy, good organisational skills and flexibility.

There is an exciting opportunity to join our Document Review and Collation Team (DRC) within our Managed Legal Services which provides multi-disciplinary expertise and scalable legal and complementary resources to support all TLT legal groups when delivering large scale projects and legal managed services for our clients. 

The DRC team is made up of a combination of non-qualified / qualified resource and paralegals who support both contentious and non-contentious fee earners from across the firm on a variety of matters.
