We, TLT, are seeking Contract Lawyers with Payments experience to join our Banking Team in Bristol.
The role will be a 6-month contract with the opportunity to work remotely and will be paid a day rate via an Umbrella Company.
Your Role
- Working as part of a wider Financial Services Team on high value, strategic projects and contractual arrangements.
- Providing non-contentious advice on a wide range of commercial projects, including framework agreements, supply agreements, payments, outsourcing and collaborations.
- Working on site with clients where required, including the option for virtual and in-person secondments.
- Assist clients in structuring new payment products and banking services.
Your Skills and Experience
- A Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered), with a minimum of 4-years post-qualification experience, gained within the Commercial or Technology team at a highly regarded law firm, or relevant in-house legal team.
- Experience of advising on commercial transactions for clients in one of key sectors, namely the financial services or retail or digital sector.
- A keen appetite to reinforce our practice with FS sector clients, particularly those operating within the payments industry.
- A motivated self-starter with ambitions to support more complex, strategic client work (with Partner oversight and support as required).
- Strong technical ability, particularly with negotiating, drafting and advising on contractual arrangements.
- Client-focussed approach with the ability to nurture long standing relationships.
- Ability to manage complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
