We are recruiting for keen and motivated Office Assistants to join our growing Core Services team within the Managed Legal Services group.  

OAs in this team support and deliver our growing portfolio of legal services on behalf of all 5 of the Firm’s practice groups. The Core Services team form the enabling foundation for a lot of our Banking and Real Estate work and our aim is to deliver the highest levels of professional services to our internal clients.  

This is a full-time opportunity which is being offered on a permanent contract however there may be contractor opportunities available for the right project and candidate.  

 

Your Role 

As an Office Assistant you will be responsible for the following;  

  • Filing at regular intervals, 
  • Opening new instructions accurately and within service standards, inputting data and preparing initial letters and documents, 
  • Distributing post and action workflow requirements in our case management  
  • Supporting case handlers with administrative tasks and action work as delegated by the Section Lead / Supervisor. 
  • Telephoning agents/third parties and preparing relevant papers and documentation for case handlers. 
  • Provide telephone support and deal with client enquiries in the case handlers absence. 
  • General photocopying and preparation of court bundles and documents. 
  • Ensure work issues or problems are reported immediately to Section Leas / Supervisors. 
  • File closing 

 

Your Skills and Experience 

  • Accuracy, good organisational skills and flexibility. 
  • Attention to detail and high data accuracy. 
  • The ability to work under tight timescales. 
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written). 
  • Effective record keeping.  
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude.
