An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Process Developer within a busy and successful Process Development Team. An agile team, working with business and internal clients to drive business efficiency and automation.  The successful candidate will have experience in working in a workflow and business process applications, skills in JavaScript and/or T-SQL queries.  The role is suited to driven individuals with experience in working on large projects who enjoy an analytical and methodical approach to working.

 

Your Role

As an IT Process Developer your day to day remit includes working as part of a key team to design, develop, test and release new processes on our Business Process Platforms using our Agile methodology. 

This will involve working with teams across IT, business stakeholders and internal clients, with a goal to increasing business efficiency by:

  • Reviewing and as appropriate update applications built within our Business Process Platforms to ensure efficiency, quality, security and adherence to internal standards;
  • Ensuring new and existing Business Processes are documented to our high internal standards and handed over to relevant support teams;
  • Developing and maintaining reports and management information for both internal and external clients throughout our various platforms;
  • As required, work with team members and external software developers supporting, developing and testing system/applications which are owned by the IT Process Development Team but fall outside the Business Process Platforms.
  • Work with teams across IT, to create processes that integrate with other systems/applications, working within the firm’s internal change management procedures and adhering to all internal development processes and standards.
  • As required, complete system changes outside standard working hours to ensure continuity of service.
  • Provide support and assistance to Business Users and IT Teams for our Business Process Applications and other IT Development Applications.
  • Responding to requests quickly and efficiently while managing the expectations of our internal clients.

                                                                                      

Your Skills and Experience

  • Experience or practical knowledge of Workflow and Business Process applications;
  • Experience working on an Agile team;
  • Practical experience and knowledge of JavaScript and/or T-SQL queries;
  • Analytical and methodical approach to working, being driven and proactive;
  • Experience working on projects and being an active member of a project team.
  • Experience of the following services would be an advantage:
  • Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform
  • K2
  • HTML / Visual Basic
