Job Introduction
We are searching for an Infrastructure Planning / DCO lawyer to support one of our key energy clients on an initial 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with Planning and DCO experience, particularly in the energy sector.
The role is offered on a day rate basis, inside IR35, so we require the contract to be through and Umbrella company.
Main Responsibilities
Key duties you will be involved with include:
- Acting in relation to the consenting aspects of off shore wind projects
- There will plenty of opportunity for client contact, running own files and early responsibility for delivery of transactions etc.
- Providing support in relation to other aspects of work undertaken in the client team.
- To provide our client with a quality service in accordance with the Firm’s procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
- A Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales and / or Scottish qualified) with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience within real estate.
- Ideally you will have experience working with clients in the future energy sector
- A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
- Able to develop a deep understanding of your client’s business needs, and act in the best interest of the firm and the client
