You will work under the direction of the matter lead and senior lawyers, playing a key role in supporting the efficient and consistent delivery of disclosure exercises in line with court and regulatory expectations. A key focus of the role will be undertaking and supporting quality control (QC) activities to ensure accuracy, consistency and defensibility across review workflows.

  • Carrying out quality control (QC) reviews of document sets to ensure consistency, accuracy and adherence to agreed protocols
  • Assisting with the identification of trends, errors or inconsistencies within review outputs and flagging these to senior team members
  • Supporting the running of searches and workflows within eDiscovery platforms (including Relativity), in collaboration with internal teams and external providers
  • Monitoring review progress, volumes and quality metrics, flagging risks or delays to senior team members
  • Acting as a point of contact for review teams, helping to resolve queries and ensure consistency in approach
  • Supporting engagement with eDiscovery suppliers and technology providers, including assisting with quality checks on outputs
  • Assisting with changes in scope, including new search terms, custodians or issues, under supervision
  • Supporting production readiness activities, including QC checks and validation of disclosure sets
  • Producing clear, structured updates and reports on review progress and key issues
  • Identifying potential hot documents or themes and escalating these to senior team members
  • Maintaining accurate and auditable records of review decisions and workflow activity

Required Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience in an eDiscovery or litigation support role, ideally within a law firm, ALSP or specialist provider
  • Demonstrable experience undertaking quality control (QC) review on document review or disclosure projects
