We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead, develop and drive the firm’s brand strategy and digital marketing infrastructure to support market growth, client experience and meeting our business goals.

Devising and implementing an integrated brand and digital marketing channel strategy, you will support the Marketing & Business Development department with a programme of delivery to advance our brand recognition and consideration and digital marketing technology.

 

Your Role

  • Lead the digital development roadmap aligned with Marketing & BD objectives, delivering a programme of improvement and long-term change for TLT website, email communications and social media channels.
  • Consultancy best practice support for multi-channel digital campaigns and opportunities for data capture, visualisation and analysis
  • Together with your direct reports, ensure that all members of the M&BD and legal teams are practising digital best practice, with efficient processes and governance
  • Report on performance, providing analysis and suggesting improvements
  • Proactively curate firm-wide focussed key content sections within the TLT website (e.g. Home page, Lawyer, About Us, Locations, Search and Careers).
  • Manage relationships with (digital agency, website platform and eCommunications solution) suppliers to ensure maximum value in our investments
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing and other M&BD leads on new initiatives that support firm objectives
  • Alongside the Brand & Design Manager, lead on development of the TLT brand proposition, imagery and tone of voice to bring to life the firm’s business strategy and strategic priorities.
  • Line manage the brand and digital marketing team
  • Ensure data protection and other regulatory compliance is adhered to
  • Collaborate with IT, infosec, data and HR on future developments and with L&D on employee training
  • Establish your profile as the go-to expert on brand and digital marketing

 

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Previous B2B brand and digital marketing experience gained in a senior Marketing & BD role, ideally within professional services
  • Senior level experience managing core marketing platforms including website, email marketing, and social media
  • Senior level experience of brand development management, including review of brand propositions that provide a clear differentiation in key markets and ability to bring this differentiation to life.  
  • Proven ability to deliver successful marketing initiatives and change projects across all the firm’s digital channels
  • Strong understanding of data-driven marketing – including compliance, data-driven campaigns and account-based marketing activity
  • Ability to develop and lead a team
  • Highly effective organisation skills, able to prioritise workloads, projects and deadlines
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with stakeholders at a range of levels – inspiring confidence in your vision and your capability
  • Capable of providing both strategic vision and tactical know-how
  • Strong understanding of the marketing mix and how digital underpins this
  • Knowledge of organic optimisation and paid performance marketing
  • Experience of implementing marketing automation an advantage
  • Budgetary responsibility for digital marketing including agencies, platforms, campaigns

The Business Development & Marketing team are instrumental in creating awareness of our brand to identify and win new business opportunities as well as delivering for our existing clients. This involves establishing and nurturing relationships and using everything from events to media relations to tenders to explore new business ideas. Within the team, have specialists in: Business Development, Bids, Internal and External Communications, Campaigns, PR, Client Engagement, Marketing and Design and Marketing Operations.
