Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting a Conveyancer to join the Lender Sales team in Bristol. Working flexible between our Bristol Head Office and remotely you will be responsible for your own case load of conveyancing files. Our Lender Sales deals with the sales of those properties that have been taken into possession. 


Your Role

As a Conveyancer your day to day remit includes:

  • Be responsible for own caseload of conveyancing technical files, referring all legal aspects to the Team Manager when necessary.
  • Ensure that telephone calls are dealt with in a professional manner that full telephone notes are taken and that calls relating to any legal aspects which the Technical Case Handler is unable to deal with are referred to the Team Manager.
  • Regularly update clients and asset managers as to progress of matters.
  • Accompanying management team on client visits and has the knowledge and confidence to contribute to the meeting/training.
  • Be confident in making decisions on technical referrals from the sales teams.
  • Problem solving with facts of the case and be confident to discuss the actions with senior members of the wider team.
  • Keeps up to date with changes in current regulations, policies and procedures and technical aspects of conveyancing process/ sharing with colleagues in the sales teams where appropriate.


Your Skills and Experience

  • Previous conveyancing experience.
  • Previous experience of title checking freehold, leasehold and shared ownership properties.
  • Previous experience drafting and providing detailed advice and proposed solutions to clients.
  • Demonstrates a natural empathy/affinity with clients and a good telephone manner, with a clear diction..
  • Strong numeracy skills. Excellent spelling and grammar.
  • Demonstrates proactivity and attention to detail.


Your Team

Operating from our offices in Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow and Belfast, we have specialist expertise in each UK jurisdiction. We act for banks, building societies, other secured lenders and third party services. We support on repossession conveyancing for these clients, so that when a property is taken into possession the title checking process is carried out promptly, and a sale progressed proactively. We also provide advice and support to fixed charge receivers from validating their appointment through to dealing with non-paying tenants or those who remain in the property beyond the end of their tenancy.
