We are currently looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our growing Procurement Team. A primary focus of this role will be on engagement with TLT’s Legal Groups (lawyers) and supporting them on sourcing and management of legal suppliers. Under legal supplier, we mean any supplier that is engaged to support work for clients (e.g., surveyors, tracing agents, legal processes improvement solutions, etc.). 

 

Your Role

  •  Sourcing and on-boarding of legal suppliers. 
  • Analysis of existing and building of approved legal supplier base. 
  • Drive awareness, buy-in and compliance of Legal Groups with legal suppliers’ policy; this includes working with Legal Groups and identifying what does and doesn’t work within the process and policy and reviewing ‘pain’ points with the Risk team. 
  • Working with internal client’s engagement team to gather and analyse TLT’s obligations to clients for risk mapping in legal suppliers’ due diligence and contracts. 
  • Build close relationships with Legal Groups and Subject Matter Experts (IT Architecture, Data Protection and Information Security, ED&I, Sustainability, etc.) to support with legal suppliers’ engagement, assessment, and contract negotiations. 
  • Support client audits related to TLT’s supply chain.
  • Assist with development of Sustainable and Ethical Procurement across legal supplier base.

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Be qualified in Procurement and Supply Chain Management (CIPS Level 4 or equivalent) or alternatively, have certification in Data Protection or Information Security Management wanting to build their career in Procurement.  
  • Understand commercial contracts, data protection and information security principles around clients’ data processing, liabilities, indemnities, exit provisions. 
  • Be self-motivator with strong internal and external stakeholder engagement skills.

Our Finance and Procurement team are key to strategic decision making, providing key management information, data and analysis to ensure our business runs smoothly and that we comply with all our statutory and regulatory obligations. To do this effectively, these teams take responsibility for billing, payments, credit control, purchasing, client accounting, commercial business partnering, reporting, sourcing, buying and more.
