We are recruiting for a Change Trainer to join our IT and Business Change team in Bristol. This is a hybrid role working 1 day per week from the Bristol office. 

 

Your Role 

  • Lead the training approach on a range of live Change projects, ensuring that all required training materials and sessions are created to a high standard and on time.  
  • Produce a variety of training materials to support our Flipped Learning initiative including professional standard video and eLearning creation  
  • Provide training on a mix of bespoke business systems (developed in-house at TLT) alongside familiar off-the-shelf packages, such as Microsoft Office.  Our training combines functional instruction with guidance on TLT processes and policies. 
  • Produce a range of tools to support a blended learning approach that is appropriate for busy legal professionals; from quick reference guides and instructional intranet pages, to video-based training, eLearning modules and manuals for all of our applications.  These are stored on our intranet (SharePoint) and maintained and kept up to date by the IT Training team. 
  • Lead our vision for point-of-need micro learning by creating quick tip videos for our IT Training vlog ‘Tech Tips TV’, and manage, program and train our exclusive in-house Chatbot.  
  • Support users with IT related questions; fielding not only ad hoc queries, but also working with the IT Service Desk to publish helpful tips, targeted at reducing Service Desk calls.

  • Able to simplify - You have a natural approach to learning; able to learn technical concepts quickly and explain them in a simple way. 
  • Business oriented - You have a track record for creating and delivering technical training that you designed around your learners’ roles, needs and business processes. 
  • Aware on the wider view - You see learning solutions with an eye for detail while always maintaining the wider context and business needs.  
  • A Content Creator – You have extensive video and eLearning (Adobe Captivate) creation experience mixed with the ability to spot changes and trends, allowing you to adapt your training content approach to engage all learners, regardless of their background and previous experience. 
  • Emotionally intelligent – Able to ‘read the room’. You understand the nuances of what your customers, stake holders and team members are saying verbally and non-verbally, and respond appropriately. 
  • An adaptable Educator – You enjoy using video and webinars as a medium for delivering learning, along with more traditional methods such as face to face, workshops and floorwalking . 
  • Cool under pressure – Able to manage changing priorities and unexpected challenges while remaining calm and professional at all times. 
  • Adaptable and Flexible – You will be happy to travel to a range of our UK sites to supply go live training and floorwalking activities, sometimes at short notice. 
  • People focused – You will be experienced with providing change training to professionals at all levels of the organisation including senior stakeholders.
