We are recruiting for a Senior Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Manager to join our Organisational Development team in Bristol on a 12 month contract. This role could be worked on a fixed term contract, or day rate contract basis.

Reporting into the Head of OD, you will be working collaboratively with TLT’s Chief People Officer, Executive Board sponsor, EDI  Partner Champion and Wellbeing Partner Champion to develop and deliver the EDI and Wellbeing agenda and change programme for the TLT Group, including all planning, activity development and delivery with appropriate KPI setting and monitoring.

Your Role

As a Senior Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Manager your day to day remit includes:

  • Deliver the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and wellbeing strategies that align to TLT’s values
  • Act as a change agent across the firm, influencing key stakeholders to drive inclusive behaviours throughout the firm
  • Lead a team of EDI and Wellbeing Managers to create and evolve appropriate inclusion and wellbeing policies and practices and appropriate governance structures that deliver a inclusive future enabling our colleagues to thrive
  • Work with Business Development and key strategic clients on their own inclusion and wellbeing agendas whilst also supporting inclusion and wellbeing in bids and tenders
  • Design and facilitate inclusion and wellbeing development programmes for senior leaders and key clients
  • Be the knowledge expert, advocate and leading voice for the TLT EDI&W strategy internally and externally
  • Develop and manage relationships with key professional bodies and providers, maintaining a network inside and outside the legal sector, and represent the firm on external forums and working groups 
  • Design and produce an ongoing, engaging audience-specific communications strategy for EDI&W that engages our people and develops managers and leaders 
  • Ensure all compliance activities (reporting and learning) are delivered to meet standards and raise awareness of EDI&W
  • Complete EDI&W benchmarking with external best practice organisations and institutions
  • Bring leading edge thinking, market trends and creative solutions to the sustainability strategy, attending external events as the TLT ambassador
  • Ensure sustainability is lived and breathed throughout TLT and behaviours are recognised and celebrated consistently

Your Skills and Experience

  • Passionate about creating an environment where everyone can be their wholeself
  • Proven subject matter expertise in EDI&W with strong understanding of mental health and wellbeing matters
  • Knowledge of trends relating to responsible business practices as well as a strong understanding of regulation and legislation
  • Proven ability in planning, organising and project management; able to prioritise multiple workstreams and meet key deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills; writing and presentating to executive audiences plus creation of training materials
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, with an ethical and transparent approach to working
  • Experience of organisational development methodologies and behaviour change techniques
  • Engaging, able to collaborate and bring colleagues on board with new initiatives
  • Ability to drive a high performing, engaged and highly motivated team who can all thrive and deliver in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Flexible, able to change business plans as circumstances change
  • Resilient - comfortable working on multiple projects within a fast paced, fast changing and challenging working environment
  • Strong sense of ethics, a person with integrity

The HR team consists of the HR Business Partners, Reward, Recruitment and Organisational Development, with specialists in Learning and Development, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing and Sustainability.
