We are recruiting for an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) Manager to join our Organisational Development team in Bristol. We have a flexible, hybrid working approach and this role will be a 12 month fixed term contract.

Your Role

As an ED&I Manager your day to day remit includes:

  • Partner with other HR colleagues in the mainstreaming of diversity and inclusion across the employee lifecycle including making recommendations for, and supporting the development of, inclusive policies and processes ensuring a best-practice approach and reflects market trends for ED&I inside and outside the legal sector.
  • Closely work with our internal and external comms team in the design and production of engaging ED&I communications that empowers and celebrates our people
  • Act as liaison for our employee networks, ensuring they are supported and empowered achieve their respective aims and in alignment with TLT’s EDI strategy
  • Design and deliver highly engaging content and interventions that supports the development of EDI understanding and capability at all levels with a particular focus on  leaders and managers.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key professional bodies and strategic partners to ensure we maximise value of our partnerships
  • Represent TLT externally on working groups and forums where appropriate and contribute to the sharing of best practice and any accompanying learnings.
  • Project-manage external benchmarking activities to confirm "best in class" status to drive the TLT brand as the most inclusive employer and own all relevant arising action plans to advance our position annually.
  • Contribute to TLT’s commercial goals by providing D&I related data, insight and expertise in client tenders and supporting the relevant Business Development personnel as needed, representing TLT with our clients on ED&I related topics
  • Organise and maintain the D&I intranet pages, ensuring that information is up to date, and provide input on external pages where appropriate.
  • Ensure all D&I related compliance activities (reporting and learning) are designed, developed and delivered to meet standards and where appropriate raise awareness.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Passionate about diversity and inclusion, with a strong knowledge of equality legislation and employment law and understanding of ED&I market trends
  • Experience in ED&I including implementing innovative ED&I strategies and activities across multiple locations advantageous
  • Awareness and understanding of barriers to attraction, retention and performance and ability to implement strategies and policies to address.
  • High level of attention to detail with strong analytical, data manipulation and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of organisational development / behaviour change techniques and project and programme methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience creating engaging written communications and presenting.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills with a transparent approach to working.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently whilst under pressure and adapt to a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable – comfortable working on multiple projects within a fast paced, fast changing working environment.
  • Resilient and solution-orientated – seeks out opportunity in obstacles.

The HR team consists of the HR Business Partners, Reward, Recruitment and Organisational Development, with specialists in Learning and Development, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing and Sustainability.
