We are recruiting for an experienced Personal Assistant to join our market-leading Financial Litigation team. You will have responsibility for the team's administrative requirements and to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and within required timescales. 

This vacancy is location agnostic, and since we are fully flexible in our working patterns, we will work with you to tailor an approach that works both for you and for us. You will always have an office that will act as your base, from which you can interact with teams face to face and access any direct support from our HR and IT teams.

 

Our FSDI team is one of the UK's largest teams in the field of financial services litigation and investigations, comprising over 200 people across our offices in Bristol, Manchester, London, Belfast, Edinburgh and Glasgow. We are rated by Chambers 2023 as being in the top tier of firms outside of London advising in this area. The range and quality of the work we do is exceptional. 

 

Your Role

As a Personal Assistant you will be responsible for the following; 

  • Filing at regular interval
  • To support the fee earners with administrative tasks and action work as delegated by team leads
  • To complete all allocated tasks within the required timeframe and to the required level of accuracy
  • Provide telephone support and deal with client queries in fee earners absence
  • Opening new instructions accurately and within service standards
  • File closing
  • Diary management for all fee earners; arranging internal and external appointments and, making arrangements for meetings; booking meetings rooms or external venues as required
  • Proof reading, amending and house styling legal reports and non TLT documents.

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Previous experienced of working as a team PA or similar team support role is essential
  • Effective record keeping
  • Effective telephone communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Extensive experience in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel are required.
  • Experience in case management systems
  • Exceptional prioritising/organisational skills.
  • Strong ability to self-manage a large workload in a busy team.
  • Confident in delegation of work when necessary. 

 

Your Team

We advise across the whole spectrum of contentious issues associated with commercial, business and consumer finance, including dispute resolution, pre-litigation management and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
