We are recruiting for an Early Careers Co-ordinator to join our Recruitment team in Bristol.  

Reporting into the Recruitment Brand and Operations Manager and working closely with the Future Talent Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and supporting the end to end early careers journey throughout the year, as well as have specific tasks within their own responsibility. Under the Future Talent umbrella, we have responsibility for attracting, assessing and onboarding Apprentices, Graduate Schemes, Vacation Schemes and Work Experience programmes.


Your Role 

As an Early Careers Co-ordinator your day to day remit includes: 

  • Organising, delivering and attend assessment days, vacation schemes, work experience days and other early careers events in all TLT’s UK offices and on-campus where appropriate.
  • Book and arrange attendees for internal and external events, prepare equipment, merchandise and briefing materials for Partners of the Firm and other key individuals.
  • Be the first point of contact for external candidates through the graduate inbox and careers site and coordinate updates for Future Trainess before they start.
  • Complete administration tasks though the TLT recruitment system to a high standard and in a timely manner.
  • Draft offer and contract documentation for review by the Early Careers Recruitment Manager.
  • Manage any screening, onboarding  and vetting activity for new joiners to TLT within Early Careers.
  • Maintain core sets of data, documents and reports to support the Early Careers Recruitment Manager in their work, including invoices, timetables, expenses, diversity and benchmarking data.
  • Ensure all Safeguarding and Health and Safety requirements for events involving young people or vulnerable adults are understood and adhered to as part of the event planning.
  • Suggest, and when agreed, implement, improvements to the end to end engagement processes.


Your Skills and Experience 

  • Experience of providing administrative support in a high volume HR, events or recruitment environment would be advantageous, in particular early careers or working with young adults.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to plan, manage and organise multiple tasks and priorities on a daily basis
  • Strong administration skills and the ability to plan and deliver to tight timescales, with attention to detail essential
  • Excellent Excel skills, particularly building and maintaining spreadsheets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. You will liaise daily with Partners, managers and participants from across the firm
  • Flexible, able to help out different members of the team at short notice
  • Ability to communicate confidently with candidates both verbally and in written form to present TLT’s Future Talent initiatives and opportunities in an engaging manner
  • Resilient, comfortable working on multiple projects within a fast paced, fast changing and challenging working environment
