We are recruiting for an Internal Communications Executive to join our Business Development and Marketing team on a 12 month fixed term contract.


Your Role

As the Internal Communications Executive your day-to-day remit will include:

  • Leading and managing an editorial communications grid (planner), that plots in a balance of news across the month.
  • Daily publishing of news, video, imagery and hub sites on Microsoft SharePoint Online (in-house intranet.)
  • Creating a weekly newsletter that summarises internal news and activity.
  • Working with a variety of stakeholders and supporting their business needs by creating high-level communications plans and content to help raise internal profile.
  • Working hand in hand with the digital and PR teams to ensure that all internal and external messaging is aligned.
  •  <!--[endif]-->Supporting the Internal Communications Manager with the delivery of events, including bi-monthly webinars, and on occasion, in-office / location specific events.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Preferably two years + communications experience within a corporate environment. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good judgment; able to build rapport with people at all levels of seniority.
  • A confident and persuasive communicator who can adapt their style for different channels and audiences.
  • Able to research, write, produce and edit great content.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative mind-set matched with an ability to deliver new initiatives in a complex corporate environment.
  • Action-orientated and self-motivated.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint / Yammer or Viva Engage a bonus.

The Business Development & Marketing team are instrumental in creating awareness of our brand to identify and win new business opportunities as well as delivering for our existing clients. This involves establishing and nurturing relationships and using everything from events to media relations to tenders to explore new business ideas. Within the team, have specialists in: Business Development, Bids, Internal and External Communications, Campaigns, PR, Client Engagement, Marketing and Design and Marketing Operations.
