We are recruiting for a Legal Analyst to join our Document Review and Collation (DRC) team in our Cape Town office, which is based near Observatory.

The DRC team is a recognised centre of excellence within TLT and a recognised leader in optimised managed legal services, operating as a seamless extension of both TLT and client legal teams to drive efficiency, quality and value. Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, the team is trusted to deliver with distinction, underpinned by leading-edge technology, streamlined processes and advanced resourcing strategies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to develop their legal skills across a broad range of document review and collation workstreams, supporting both contentious and non-contentious fee earners from across the firm. You will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality legal services in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Who Are We?

TLT Resourcing Ltd is a subsidiary of TLT LLP (‘TLT’), an award-winning UK-based law firm with a reputation for its innovative approach to delivering legal services.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for thoughtful professional who brings both depth and perspective. You’re someone who can see the big picture while staying grounded in the details. You’ve built your expertise over time, and now you’re ready to collaborate in a way that lifts others up.

You’re not just skilled - you’re curious, adaptable, and committed to making legal work more accessible and impactful. You know how to navigate complexity, communicate clearly, and build trust across teams and clients.

If you’re passionate about using your insight to drive meaningful outcomes - and you care deeply about people along the way - we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Legal Analyst, you will:

  • Undertake first-level reviews of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), including redactions, with close attention to detail, accuracy and speed.
  • Use e-disclosure platforms such as Relativity to conduct document reviews and e-disclosure exercises.
  • Support fee earners with pre-action disclosure, court bundle preparation and general document management.
  • Report regularly to management on the progression of ongoing matters, ensuring deadlines are met and workloads are effectively managed.
  • Manage your financial outputs carefully, ensuring that changes to time, cost and quality on any given project are properly considered and communicated.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the team whilst exercising independent initiative to manage your own workload efficiently.

What You Bring

  • Legal Analyst experience gained within a document review or litigation support role would be advantageous, though candidates with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in this area of work are also encouraged to apply.
  • Proven ability to identify privilege and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience of working on Data Subject Access Requests is desirable; full training will be provided.
  • Experience of using document review platforms such as Relativity is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and clients across multiple teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong self-management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise competing demands and work to tight deadlines.
  • Accuracy, good organisational skills and the flexibility to adapt across a varied and changing workload.
