TLT is recruiting a large team of experienced Contract Lawyers to support a significant upcoming document review exercise, scheduled to commence early to mid‑May.

The assignment is expected to last 3–6 months and will be engaged on a highly competitive daily rate, commensurate with experience, via Umbrella Company. The role will be hybrid, with occasional office attendance required in Bristol or London, depending on project needs.

Your Role

You will join a large‑scale document review team supporting a high‑profile matter, delivering a high‑quality, defensible review using industry‑leading eDiscovery technology.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and coding documents within RelativityOne, in line with agreed review protocols and workflows.
  • Identifying and accurately applying decisions relating to relevance, legal professional privilege, confidentiality, commercially sensitive information, and personal data.
  • Applying a strong legal understanding of privilege and data protection considerations throughout the review process.
  • Working collaboratively with reviewers, team leads, and project management to ensure consistent and high‑quality outputs.
  • Escalating queries and issues promptly in accordance with agreed escalation and QC processes.
  • Meeting productivity and quality expectations, including the flexibility to work additional hours when project demands require.

Skills & Experience

You will have:

  • Qualification as a UK‑qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate and active SRA registration, or be a common law‑qualified lawyer with equivalent professional standing.
  • Recent, hands‑on experience using RelativityOne on live document review matters (essential).
  • Demonstrable experience reviewing documents for:
  • Legal professional privilege
  • Commercially sensitive information
  • Personal data and data protection considerations
  • Experience working on large‑scale document review exercises with defined protocols and quality controls.
  • A high level of attention to detail and the ability to work accurately at pace.
  • Flexibility and commitment to support the project through peak periods, including additional hours where required.
  • The ability to attend the Bristol or London office on an occasional basis when required.
