Role Overview

Based in our Bristol office, this role sits within Transformation and Operations where you will be working with stakeholders across the firm, including Directors and Partners to embed a culture of continuous improvement, change agility and user-centred transformation.

Working under the guidance of the Senior Change Manager, the Change Manager will deliver the firm’s change management capability, working with the Change Trainers and wider department to deliver successful people focussed change across technological, strategic and operational programmes and projects. The role will partner with the firm to ensure business readiness, adoption and sustained benefits realisation from change initiatives. The Change Manager will focus on ensuring that the firm’s change initiatives are understood, embraced and embedded effectively – minimising disruption and maximising the benefits of change.

 

Your Role

  • Quickly build the necessary trust, credibility and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work in partnership with both the wider Transformation and Operations teams, and further stakeholders across the firm, to create then implement comprehensive change and training plans.
  • Deliver cohesive impact assessments, skills set analysis, training, engagement and communication strategies with associated plans across multiple initiatives.
  • Create user-friendly materials, guides and communications, tailored to audiences to maximise understanding and adoption, ensuring all materials, approaches and deliveries are aligned to the firm’s values, tone of voice and professional standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams and business areas to mitigate resistance to change, providing support where required and adapting approach to ensure the most effective change delivery.
  • Own the post go-live phase to ensure smooth transition of changes into BAU, including communications, and ensuring wider understanding of roles and responsibilities through continued collaboration.
  • Adhere to the governance and frameworks, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and escalating risks with appropriate mitigation solutions whenever encountered.
  • Managing change readiness for the full project lifecycle, which, as required, will include being onsite at our UK offices during critical phases.
  • Be a model for high quality change management across the firm, develop, lead and implement initiatives and plans in line with the firm’s Operational Change Playbook.

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience in business change management and ensuring operational and training readiness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience in change management for multiple complex, cross organisational projects at one time.
  • Experience of successfully engaging and managing stakeholders at all levels across an organisation, including those who are not early adopters.
  • Demonstrable understanding and awareness of different organisational change and process improvement models and approaches.
  • Strong influencing and dynamic interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to be comfortable with ambiguity and able to challenge the status quo confidently.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically and see the big picture.
  • Excellent workload management and prioritisation skills.
