We’re looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Contract Junior Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team in Bristol.

In this role, you’ll support the Commercial Reporting team with month-end activities and ad-hoc reporting while we implement a new ERP system. Your work will ensure accurate financial data is delivered, helping to shape the firm’s profitability strategy and drive meaningful change.

This is a hybrid role based at our Bristol office, so you’ll need to live within a reasonable commuting distance. This role is an initial 3-6 month contract and will be paid on a day rate via an Umbrella company.

Your Role

As a Junior Accounting Analyst your remit includes:

  • Helping to prepare month end reporting including management accounts.
  • Month end journals – e.g. Prepayments and accruals.
  • Support all financial audits.
  • Reconciling accounts.
  • Assist with ad-hoc finance data requests and troubleshoot all accounting issues.
  • Help to continuously improve finance processes to aid accurate, timely data being available.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Someone keen to build a career in finance.
  • Have experience in an accounting or reporting role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team.
  • Strong Excel skills.
